Sight Specific Projects reaches out to local art and community organizations through mergers, joint programming, and other forms of collaborations.

To achieve its mission of bringing meaningful art experiences to the community far more efficiently, effectively, and sustainably, Sight Specific Projects forms short-term partnerships with other organizations to execute its program and exchange resources.


A Sight Specific Projects workshop by BĂ©atrice Coron, acclaimed book artist, paper cutter, sculptor, teacher and conceptual artist was been possible in 2009, thanks to the collaboration with Arts Unbound. Inc.


A collaboration with the New Jersey Arts Incubator in 2009 made possible an out door Sight Specific installation inspired by the NJAI event theme: Mid Summer Night Dream. In the image: Installation by Lorena La Grassa





In 2009 Sight Specific Projects merges with HAND, Inc. involving many artists with many out door installations for the first Open Studio Stroll of the Valley. In the image: Installation and interactive art by Suzanne Broughel and Tree Installation By Mansa K. Mussa


2009 - Sight Specific Projects takes over the windows of the New Jersey Arts Incubator venue with a series of month lee installations called Art On The Look generating more traffic and raising the interest of the local community. In the Image: Dwell installation by Robert Lach.


An active collaboration between Sight Specific Projects and Valley Arts, Inc. Gives life to the first Sculpture Garden of the Valley Arts District. Using an empty lot on the border between Orange and West Orange a group of artists took inspiration and themes from the surrounding sites to create an eclectic showcase of installations. Oualie Art devotes its windows to Sight Specific Projects with a series of installations called Window Dressing. In the image: Jody Lee's sculpture, Trojan Horse in Rein-Back, 2011.
In 2010 Sight Specific Projects merges with Valley Arts, Inc to give life to The Open Studio Stroll and Earth Festival, a remarkable community art events using empty lots and local urban sites such as empty stores windows and wire fences  for art installations, interactive art and educational initiatives.
